The regular T-Gel shampoo and other dandruff shampoos (and I have tried them ALL, including prescription solutions

for dandruff) are either not entirely effective for me, or they are no help at all. In my experience, this is the

best dandruff shampoo on the market, and I have been using it for years. Yes, the smell is medicinal, but it doesn't

linger on my hair. I always follow up a shampoo with Pantene conditioner and my hair is always very shiny, smells

good, and I get lots of compliments.

This product has really helped me control my terrible seborrheic dermatitis. Before, my scalp was scaly, flaky, and

shedding flakes of dry skin and gobs of oil, and I couldn't figure out what was wrong. I'd wash my hair with a

regular shampoo, and in 8 hours, my head was a grease ball, itchy, and covered in scales. Once I realized what was

going on, and I tried this shampoo, my scalp problems went away and I'm enjoying clean hair and a healthy scalp! The

smell is a little strange at first, but you get used to it, and it's really not noticeable to others. Besides, small

price to pay for a healthy head! If you're suffering with dermatitis or bad dandruff, give this a shot.

I use the extra strength Neutrogena every other day. It is probably one of the best dandruff/psoriasis shampoos

available over-the-counter. It definitely works great and is fairly strong. On the plus side, it will control flare

-ups of persistent dandruff or psoriasis very effectively for about 3-4 days. On the minus side, it makes the skin

that was in contact with the shampoo very photosensitive. This means, it may increase your tendency to sunburn for

up to 24 hours after application. Another minus is that if you are fair-haired, this shampoo may darken the color of

your hair. Overall, this is an EXCELLENT shampoo.

Nizoral 1% Study Shows Benefits for Androgenetic Alopecia

March 04, 2001 - American Academy of Dermatology Meeting - Washington DC - Scientists working for McNeil, makers of Nizoral anti-dandruff shampoo, presented the findings of a study done on 1% Nizoral shampoo which has good news for hair loss sufferers. It has long been known that 2% prescription Nizoral has beneficial effects on Androgenic Alopecia (MPB). It however has been unclear whether the same benefits can be obtained by using the non-prescription 1% version. Nizoral anti dandruff shampoo has positive effects for hair loss.

In the study presented (see below), one hundred male volunteers with mild to moderate dandruff and somewhat oily scalp, were using, in a double-blind fashion, either a 1% Nizoral shampoo or a 1% zinc pyrithione shampoo, 2-3 times a week for 6 months.

Analysis of the different parameters set up in the study shows that the hair diameter gradually increased with Nizoral use (+8.46%) over a 6 month period, whereas the diameter showed a trend to decrease with zinc pyrithione use over the same period (-2.28%). The sebum excretion rate was reduced with Nizoral (-6.54%) while it increased with zinc pyrithione (+8.2%) over the same period of time. The number of hair shed over a 24-hour period was reduced by 16.46% with Nizoral and 6.02% with zinc pyrithione after 6 months. Finally, the percentage hairs in anagen phase increased by 6.4% and 8.4% respectively during the study time.

The results are similar to a previous study done on 2% prescription strength Nizoral where it was shown that use of 2% Nizoral yielded a 7% average increase in hair shaft diameter similar to what was achieved by the control group using 2% Minoxidil and a non-medicated shampoo.

So for any hair loss sufferer, this research clearly indicates that using 1% or 2% Nizoral 2-3 times per week, will have positive effects on hair growth as well as controlling dandruff. It is still unclear at this time whether it's the anti-fungal properties or the anti-androgenic properties of Ketokonazole (active ingredient in Nizoral) thats responsible for the hair thickening effects, however because of the decrease in sebum rates as well, it is the authors opinion that the results are due to the anti-androgenic properties of Ketokonazole.

The effects of chronic use of 1% ketoconazole or a 1% zinc pyrithione shampoo on the general health of hair and scalp.

Finax is Generic Propecia made in India by Dr Reddy's. Generic Propecia is the most popular treatment for hairloss (Male Pattern Baldness). Each Finax tablet contains 1mg of finasteride, the same as Propecia.

Finax (Generic Propecia) is a product for men that can prevent further hairloss and increase hair growth. The active ingredient Finasteride, blocks the formation of DHT (one of the male hormones that causes hairloss), and gives the hair follicles a chance to recover and grow.

Generic Propecia should be taken once tablet daily, with or without meals.

In general use, the following side effects of generic propecia have been reported infrequently: allergic reactions including rash, itching, hives and swelling of the lips and face, problems with ejaculation, breast tenderness and enlargement, and testicular pain. A small number of men experienced certain sexual side effects. These men reported one or more of the following: less desire for sex; difficulty in achieving an erection; and, a decrease in the amount of semen. Each of these side effects occurred in less than 2% of men.

The effectiveness of generic propecia may vary from person to person. Finax (Generic Propecia) lowers readings of the PSA screening test for prostate cancer. Minoxidil 5%，Alcohol（酒精），Citric acid（檸檬酸）, glycerine（甘油），purified water（淨化水）等。

【使用方法】

1. 早晨時在頭髮稀疏地區內，先將頭髮分成一排或多排，使可以看到頭皮的最大區域。

2. 當泡沫與你有溫暖的皮膚接觸，會開始溶化，如果你的手指很溫熱的話，請先使用冷水沖洗(一定在接觸泡沫前擦乾)。

3. 將瓶身倒過來，並且按壓噴嘴，將泡沫擠在你的手指上，泡沫的使用總量應為半茶匙。

4. 用你的手指，使泡沫分佈在到掉髮的地區，並且溫柔地按摩滲透進頭皮，然後清洗您的雙手。

晚上，依照上面的步驟使用，正確地塗抹泡沫式男用落建。確認有足夠的時間在上床睡覺之前完全地乾燥。

Just want to share my results with you

I have been taking 1mg of finpecia and using rogaine foam twice
daily sine Oct of last year so about 4-5 months, I started with kirkland
minox but it was just too greasey, but rogaine foam is excellent to use
on a day to day basics been on that about 6 weeks

Still taking Finpecia dailey and applying Rogaine foam mostly twice dailey

Anyway heres the pics a year in, not a full recovery but I would say I am
very happy with the maintance and some regrowth.
